I like to think of it as "Great Commission Living." I love the way that Jesus said it. "Go and make disciples." You've probably heard this before, but maybe not. The word "Go" in English, isn't really an imperative in the Greek. I've heard so many people (usually militant 5-pointers) use this fact to say "see, there is no mandate to 'go'". But here's the deal, the translation "as you go, make disciples" IMPLIES that they will GO, no question about it. In other words, Jesus said "you're gonna GO, so as you go, make Christians wherever you go." I think that's what missional living is all about. It's not about making time to do evangelism, setting aside a specific parts of your week for discipleship, it's about following Jesus and bringing people along for the ride. Praise God, let's get after it! I agree.
